The bike maintenance app that knows when your chain is worn.

PedalCare tracks component wear, service history and mileage for every bike in your garage. Odometers update automatically from Strava, Garmin Connect and Apple Watch, so you get a reminder before a part wears out, not after.

How PedalCare works

  1. 1. Add your bikes

Road, gravel, MTB, e-MTB or e-bike. A short baseline questionnaire records what was already serviced, so wear tracking starts accurate instead of at zero.

  2. 2. Connect a ride source

Strava, Garmin Connect or Apple Watch. Each ride's distance is added to the right bike's odometer. No manual entry after a ride.

  3. 3. Service before it breaks

PedalCare counts kilometres per component and warns you before the chain, cassette, brake pads or tyres reach their service window. Log the job with cost, photos and receipts, and the counter resets.

Beyond maintenance. A recommended tyre pressure calculator, cost per kilometre analytics, MTB spec sheets with a searchable component catalog, home screen widgets, an Apple Watch app, and a Race Hub with the UCI calendar, local events, race reminders and pre-race checklists.

Frequently asked questions

Is PedalCare free?

Yes. The free plan includes up to 2 bikes and core maintenance tracking. PedalCare Pro adds unlimited bikes, full service history, part usage and cost insights, bike health and the Race Hub, with a one-month free trial.

Which ride sources can update my bike mileage?

Strava, Garmin Connect and Apple Watch. Connect one of them and the distance of each ride is added to the right bike, so your odometer and wear tracking stay current without manual entry.

Which bikes does it support?

Road, gravel, MTB, e-MTB and e-bike. MTB and e-MTB bikes get spec sheets with a searchable component catalog, and e-bikes get a battery reminder when the bike sits unused.

How does component wear tracking work?

A short baseline questionnaire records what was already serviced. From then on PedalCare counts kilometres per component (chain, cassette, brake pads, tyres and more) and warns you before a part reaches its service window. A wear profile lets you record terrain, weather and riding style.

Can I track what my bike costs?

Every service record can hold a date, mileage, cost split into parts and labour, notes, photos and receipts. Pro users also get cost per kilometre and a breakdown of what drives their spend.

What is the Race Hub?

A UCI race calendar plus local club events. Register for an event, get race reminders and follow a pre-race checklist adapted to your bike. Registrations, reminders and checklists are Pro features.

Kilometres or miles?

Both. Distances follow your Strava profile automatically, or you can force kilometres or miles in Settings. Stored data always stays in kilometres.
